Drop-in LFAR Barrels NEW!
Get the custom Large Format AR (LFAR) experience with Drop-In convenience. Each LFAR barrel is machined using the same processes that have helped Shilen customers win endless competitions and set so many World Records over the years. Each barrel is assigned a bolt assembly and then chambered to the correct headspace for THAT bolt. Gas-block shanks are machined to +- .001 for proper fit. Each barrel is uniquely numbered to match with its' corresponding numbered bolt, and the barrel extension is installed. LFAR barrels can be made in custom chambers in any .480” (308) boltface with a 2.810”, or shorter, OAL (short action) that we list on our chamber page. ** We do NOT guarantee the feeding of custom chambers. If customer experiences feeding issues on a custom chamber they assume responsibility for those feeding issues. **
(Gas block and gas tube not included. **IF you have a standard factory style open sight gas block it will require additional machining for cross pin alignment.**)
Our bolts are right handed, customers can provide their bolt assembly for a discount or request that multiple barrels be head-spaced to one bolt assembly.

Shilen has improved the functionality and durability of our Drop-in LFAR's by moving to a high pressure bolt (9310 hardened steel) with included matching firing pin.
